Commercial Epoxy Flooring in Markham — what to know
The Decor Coatings crew installs commercial epoxy flooring for homeowners and businesses in Markham. High-traffic floors for showrooms, warehouses, retail, gyms, and auto shops. Markham homes trend toward high-spec finishes and larger-than-average garages and basements — making it one of our most frequent sources of garage epoxy, basement coating, and decorative concrete feature requests.
Markham sits in the York region, and our scheduling runs same-day for consults. The housing mix here means we see every kind of substrate, from century-old concrete to recently poured garage slabs. Each gets prep matched to its condition. For commercial epoxy specifically, that means specification matched to actual commercial use case, overnight and weekend install options to minimize downtime, matched to the actual condition of your slab or wall.
Prep is where coatings succeed or fail, so we mechanically grind every substrate and never skip to shortcuts. Most residential jobs are booked within two weeks of quote acceptance.

Common questions
Can you work around our hours?+
Yes. We routinely schedule overnight pours, weekend installs, and phased sections. The limitation is cure time, not labour hours — we plan around that.
Do you provide warranties?+
Every commercial job comes with a written performance warranty specific to the system installed. Typical range: 5–10 years depending on the specification.
Do you serve all of Markham?+
Yes — we work across every neighbourhood in Markham, including Unionville, Thornhill, Cornell, and surrounding areas. Scheduling is same-day for consults.
How does Markham's climate affect commercial epoxy?+
The GTA's humidity swings and winter heating cycle affect substrate moisture, which is why we moisture-test every slab before scheduling. Commercial Epoxy systems are selected to handle the conditions we find — including the salt and freeze-thaw stress that garage floors see from November through April.
