Polished Concrete Floors — Toronto & GTA
Low-maintenance architectural flooring with a seamless, modern finish.
About this service
Polished concrete isn't a coating — it's a mechanical refinement of the concrete slab itself. Using progressively finer diamond-impregnated pads, we grind, hone, and polish the existing floor until it reaches the gloss level you want: a soft honed matte, a satin sheen, or a mirror polish that reflects the ceiling. Along the way, we densify the surface with lithium silicate, which fills microscopic pores and makes the final floor significantly harder and more stain-resistant than raw concrete. The result is a floor that lasts the life of the building, requires only occasional buffing to maintain, and has zero volatile chemistry — nothing to off-gas, nothing to peel. We polish floors in modern homes, retail spaces, galleries, offices, and light-industrial spaces across the GTA. The look pairs beautifully with modern or minimalist architecture, and the operating cost over fifteen years is lower than practically any other flooring option.

Questions people ask
Can you polish an older or stained slab?+
Usually yes. Older slabs often grind up beautifully once the top layer is removed. Deep stains or oil penetration can show through, which we document before starting so there are no surprises.
Does it stay shiny forever?+
The polish holds for years with normal residential use. Commercial floors benefit from a yearly buff with a lithium polish-conditioner. If the shine ever drops, we can re-polish the top layer in a day without starting over.
What about radiant heating?+
Polished concrete is excellent for radiant floors — the concrete mass stores and distributes heat beautifully, and there's no coating layer to insulate the surface.
